During the traditional Confucian funeral, she feels suffocated by all the other people around her and this stress triggers a fantasy that is staged as a joyous musical. (Although feminism have strengthened its position in society recently, the status of woman is still poor in the traditional patriarchism family. I try to create a fantasy of the erotic, strong, unrepressed (if destructive) woman, who rejects the conventional roles of devoted widow that mainstream society prescribes for women.
