조삼모사(朝三暮四)' 라는 고사성어에 바탕한 현대의 우화. 정신박약아인 동생 가브리엘(Gabriel)과 킬러인 형 존(John)은 한 집에서 살고 있다. 어느 날 일을 나가려던 형은 동생을 맡아주기로 한 친구가 약속을 어기게 되자, 급하게 사라(Sarah)라는 친구에게 그를 맡긴다. 그리고 한 가지 중요한 주의사항을 냉장고에 붙여 놓는다. "동생에게 꼭 아침에 네 개, 저녁에 세 개의 초컬릿을 줄 것"" 결국엔 예상치 못한 일로 비극을 초래하고 마는데… (John and his younger brother Gabriel live together. John is a hit-man and Gabriel has a mental disability, and his only hobby is taking picture with a digital camera that John gave him. Gabriel lives under a certain rule to have only 4 chocolates in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. On a day that John has a job to do, he must find someone to watch his brother. Sarah, a waitress in a bar, agrees to watch his brother for him. She happens to give him the wrong number of chocolates....)연출의도. 조삼모사를 은유하지 않고 꾸밈없이 직접적인 방법으로 표현하고자 했다. 따라서 의도적인 연출보다 연기자들의 이해를 끌어냈다. (Without a metaphor, I wanted to directly present “Jo-Sam-Mo-sa” ? one of Chinese proverbs on deception. I tried not to utilize carefully calculated filming.
