대입 시험이 치러지는 날. '현진'은 시험장으로 가지 않고 서울 이곳 저곳을 배회하다 우연히 들른 중국집의 바다사진을 보고 무작정 동해로 향한다. 하지만 막연한 기대와는 달리 현진은 고달픈 하룻밤을 보내게 된다.
