직장에서 쫓겨나고 가족에게까지 소외당한 무능력한 아버지는 집을 떠나 노숙생활을 하게 된다. 공원에서 덮고 자던 신문지에서 [수퍼맨 리턴즈] 광고를 본 순간 수퍼맨이 되겠다고 마음먹은 아버지는 놀이공원에서 아이들에게 2.000원씩 받고 기념사진을 촬영 해 주는 것으로 짭짤한 수입을 올리게 된다. 이제 다시 집으로 돌아갈 희망에 부풀어 오르지만, 그러나 공원에 나타난 스파이더맨, 베트맨, 원더우먼과 자리싸움 끝에 경찰서에 끌려가 철창에 갇히고 만다.
