선주는 구로동에서 회사를 다니다. 늘 같은 자리에 앉아서 같은 질문만 하는 미성숙녀, 큰 소리로 주인을 찾는 새내기 우체부가 있는 동네. 선주가 세 들어 사는 집에 한번도 안 오시던 아버지가 어느 날 봄옷을 가지고 찾아오시는데... (Sun-ju gets a job at Guro Industrial Complex. She lives on a block where a silly girl always seats at the same spot and asks a same question to people and a novice postman shouts for receivers of mail. Her father has never visited her place but one day he comes to her rented room as if he had already known the place....)연출의도. 구로 공단은 6, 70년대 산업화시대 눈부신 경제 성장의 주인공이다. 우리는 이 경제성장 뒤에 노동자들이 있다는 걸 기억하지 않는다. 공단으로 하나의 지역(동네)으로 존재하는 이곳. 이 역사의 많은 딸들처럼, 아버지와의 사랑을 통해 구로동을 노래한다. 리얼리티는 사상이다. 그래서 돌아보는 건 아련한 추억이 아니고, 우리의 치열한 싸움의 결과이고 역사다. (Guro Industrial Complex is one of the major places where the splendid economical growth took place during the industrialization period of 1960～1970. Most people do not remember that there were laborers behind the economical growth. Guro-gong-dan is a residential area as well as an industrial complex. Like those female workers of the past, Sun-ju sings the life of Guro-dong with the love between her and her father.
