케이블 TV 시사 프로 기자인 명진은 남대문의 에로 극장에서 노인들을 취재한다. 하릴없이 시간을 때우는 것을 보던 명진은 갑작스런 인터뷰 지시로 낯선 아파트로 가게 되고, 그 곳에서 옛 연인이었던 미연을 스쳐 보낸다. 우연히 보게 된 그녀의 집 열쇠로 문을 열고 들어가 보는 명진은 과거의 기억을 떠올리며 잠시 미소 짓지만 곧 크나 큰 실수를 저지르게 된다. He slipped into her flat, looking back on the past.)연출의도. 시간은 봄이었고, 모든 것은 낯설어 있었다. 욕망이든 꿈이든 원하는 것은 보이지 않고 지나간 일을 아쉬워하며 알 수 없는 질투로 살아가던 시기. 신문에서 우연히 성인극장을 드나드는 노인들의 기사를 읽게 되었다. 그 기사는 묘하게 나를 자극하기 시작했다. 나는 이들보다 죽음에 가까워져 있는 것이 아닐까. 자신을 위로하게 되는 짧은 순간에 대해 말하고 싶었다.
