황폐해져만 가던 작은 마을은 '사진사 청년 J'가 찍어주는 사진으로 인해 웃음과 기쁨이 넘쳐나게 된다. 마을 사람들이 청년의 사진관으로 몰려들어 장사가 안 되는 '직업사진관' 사진사는 그를 도와주겠다는 '지식짱'의 제의를 받아들인다. 어느 날 갑자기 옆 마을에 돌아다니는 마을 사람들의 사진과 줄어드는 일감 그리고 청년에 대한 의심으로 긴급회의가 열린다. 행복을 가져다주는 사진들에 숨겨진 무엇과 다른 마을에는 알려지지 않은 이 곳 사람들의 비밀이 드러나면서 일은 극단적으로 치닫게 된다. (There was a devastated small village. One day a young photographer called J came into the village to take their pictures and it made them happy. Since many of the people from the village started going to his studio, the previous photographer lost many of his customers so he accepted the offer from "Ji-sik-jang". The village people had an emergency meeting because the pictures they took were being distributed around the next village, this reduced the work given by the next village and their suspicion about the young photographer grew. Things get extreme after it is revealed that there's something special in his pictures and that there is also a secret about the people in this weird village.)연출의도. 우리가 꿈꾸는 이상적인 삶, 세상은 어떤 것일까.. 어디에 있을까... 희망이 사라진 마을을 상상할 수 있는가. 함께 행복할 수 있는 세상, 보다 나아진 세상을 꿈꾸며 그렇게 되고자 애쓰지만 복잡한 세상사에 떠밀려 번번이 좌절되고 수많은 세월이 흐르는 동안 반복되고 나아지지 못하는 서글픔에 대해서 얘기하고 싶었다. 꿈을 가지고 보다 나은 것을 위해 변화하고자 하는 젊은층은 어느새 기존의 것들, 권력들에 의해 떠밀리게 된다. 제대로 성숙하지 못한 어른들이 만들고 이끌어 가는 이상한 세상... (Where is the ideal world and the ideal life that we always dreamed of.. Can you imagine a village without any hope. We could have created a world where all people were happy together. We are trying to make it happen but it fails again and again because of all complications in reality. I wanted to talk about the sadness. The younger generations who have dreams want to change the world and make it a better place but give up because of their surrounding traditional influences.
