부산광역시의 오래되고 낡은 동네, 광안 3동은 학교, 관공서도 없으며 갈매기 한 마리 볼 수 없는 주택가지만 곧 재개발될지 모른다는 기대에 차있다. (Kwang-an 3dong is a town in Busan, the largest port city of Korea, but the town itself isso old and humble that there is no public service offices or school. Even sea gulls are not willing to visit the town. But recently the town gets excites in expectation of urban renewal program.)연출의도. 부산광역시 수영구 광안3동. 근사한 간판 하나오르내리지 않는 조용하고 꽉 막힌 공간에서 꾸는 자유와 꿈은 모두 이 공간을 벗어나려는 데서 시작했다. 결국은 정주할 수 밖에 없는 나의 물리적 공간에서 나는 나의 이야기를 하려고 한다. 광안 3동은 구성된 나의 내면의 확장인 셈이다. 공간을 품은 유년의 기억과 그 시간은 지속적인 돌림노래와 같다. 단편적인 어린 기억과 환상들은 각각의 숏에 뒤틀린 주름들을 잡는다. 반복되는 돌림노래의 영화적 형식과 겹쳐진 혼란스러운 숏들은 ‘나의 기억과 욕망의 회귀와 재반복’라는 점에서 잠재된 불협의 접점을 가진다. (My dream for the future and freedom has begun in this closed town where there is nothing but silence. I longed for the liberation from this boring and isolated place. However, after all, it turned out to be this place where I start my story since it is the extension of myself - in other words, it consists of the inside of my being. All the places are in the hold of my memories of youth and the memories are like trolls along with the times I spent there. Fragmented memories and fantasies crumple each shot in the twisted fold.
